The country seems gripped with fear at the moment, worried about a banking system that almost collapsed, a gloomy housing market and the start of a recession. Thankfully though, not all businesses share this dim outlook. Cad & The Dandy attended BT’s Small Business Week and were surrounded by companies from all spheres touting that although problems do exist, they don’t spell the end for everyone.
Firms with excessive over heads will start to feel the pinch as demand inevitably drops off, but for companies that are able to innovate and change their business model the tough times can spell an opportunity as their competitors fall to the wayside. At Cad & The Dandy we’ve worked hard to minimise our cost base whilst striving to maintain the same high standards of both product and service, and passed the savings on to our customers. Only time will tell for sure but we’re confident that this is a robust model. Here’s what Cad & The Dandy’s Operations Director had to say to Paul Ross and Joanne Good on BBC London’s Radio about the outlook for business in the UK.
